Global Outlets is planning Slovenia's only factory outlet on a prime site near Ljubljana. With over 80 units in 24,000m2 of retail space, and a food court of 600m2 with panoramic terrace, plus various coffee shops and children's playground, the outlet is expected to attract premium fashion, footwear and sports brands.
The outlet will have 1,200 parking spaces, and is designed in alpine style, using many of the typical features found in Gorenjska Villages.
GVA Grimley Outlet Services has been appointed to operate and market the outlet, and they fully expect the Ljubljana factory outlet to achieve the same level of success as others they manage in Budapest, Warsaw, Bucharest, Ringsted, Prague and other European capitals.
We expect to offer units for rent in Spring 2010, once building permission is in place. Phase one of the factory outlet is expected to open in Spring 2011.
