There is no predominance of any nationality, visitors come from all over the world. Around 50% of the 2,895 hotel beds are 4-star. The conference and incentive market in Ljubljana is growing 20% year on year, the city hosts in excess of  1,000 events per annum.

Ljubljana is the only capital city in the EU that does not have any international hotel operators present. There is one Austrian hotel operator.
