Jacqueline Stuart – Director

Jacqueline is the founder and Director of Slovenia Invest. Her work encompasses sales and acquisitions of real estate assets, landlord and tenant representation, feasibility studies, and other advisory services.
She is considered an expert in the Slovene real estate market, and regularly contributes articles to Slovenia’s daily financial newspaper and other newspapers and broadcast media. Jacqueline has given speeches at Expo Real and Vienna Real.
Recent successes include the sale of the Alp Hotel in Bovec to a Slovene Company, the Hotel Razor in Kranjska Gora to a Serbian high net worth individual, the Hotel TGT in Podljubelj to a UK plc, and the Hotel Bellevue in Ljubljana to a sovereign wealth fund from the middle-east. Recent tenant representation for a major occupier in Ljubljana resulted in a 13% rent reduction for the Client.
Jacqueline has worked in the real estate industry for over 15 years, in Spain, the UK and Slovenia. She previously headed up a boutique development company in central London. Jacqueline belongs to a dynasty of successful individuals in the built environment. Her great great Grandfather founded and developed one of the largest construction companies in Scotland. Jacqueline speaks fluent Spanish and basic Slovene and Croatian.
Žiga Vižintin – Leasing consultant

Žiga joined Slovenia Invest in February 2009. He gained a BSc in Political Science from Ljubljana University in 2006. His work at Slovenia Invest encompasses sales and rentals of commercial real estate assets. Recent successes include the sale of a factory with development land near Koper to a Slovene company, the successful rental of two hotels, and rental of over 1,000m2 of office space in a key building in Ljubljana.
Žiga obtained the highly sought after Slovene real estate license in 2007, and now has four years of experience working in commercial real estate in Ljubljana and other parts of Slovenia. In his previous job, he was responsible for the sale of the commercial units in Vila Urbana, a landmark development.
Žiga is currently studying part time for a Masters degree in Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana. He speaks fluent English, Croatian and Serbian, and a good level of German.
Kristijan Sivec – Trainee Real Estate Advisor

Kristijan joined Slovenia Invest in November 2011. He gained a BSc in Political Science from Ljubljana University in 2010. The title of his thesis was ‘The change of neoliberal paradigm in the Slovene Financial crisis’. His work at Slovenia Invest includes translating, maintaining and updating the website, assisting with research for valuations and market reports, helping out with general office duties and preparing a variety of investment memoranda.
Kristijan has previous work experience in the Slovene press agency where he wrote news for the government web portal and maintained the extensive photo library. During his time at university, Kristijan was active in the Polituss student association, and organized round tables, excursions and political debates and in international organisation IAPSS where he was organising events on the international level.
Kristijan speaks fluent English and Croatian and basic Italian. He is looking forward to studying for the Slovene real estate license in 2012.
